Shawn Seifikar, DDS



Dr. Seifikar is a Dentist Anesthesiologist and the founder of Dental Anesthesia Specialists. He graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1995 and obtained his bachelors of Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas where he played soccer.

He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. While in dental school at Baylor Dr. Seifkar discovered his passion for pharmacology, which eventually lead him to pursue a carrier in anesthesiology. Dr. Seifikar completed a three-year post-doctoral dental anesthesiology residency program, a unit of the medical anesthesiology residency program administered through the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) medical education program.

His education and training experiences were directed and coordinated by the faculty of the department of Dental Anesthesiology within the School of Dental Medicine and the department of Anesthesiology within the School of Medicine. His anesthesiology training consisted of medical rotations in internal medicine, critical care, chronic pain and anesthesiology at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Montefiore Hospital, Magee Women's Hospital, Saint Margaret's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Center for Special Needs Patients at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Dental Medicine.

Monica Rodriguez Monroig, DMD


Dr. Monica Rodriguez Monroig is a Dentist Anesthesiologist. She graduated from Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York after completing a three-year post-doctoral anesthesia residency. Her anesthesiology training included medical rotations in cardiology, internal medicine, critical care and pain management at Columbia University. She provided anesthesia for pediatric and adult patients in both hospital and clinic settings. Additionally, she also provided anesthesia for special needs patients at Rose F. Kennedy Rehabilitation Center.

Prior to her dental anesthesiology residency, Dr. Rodriguez Monroig completed a Master degree in Public Health from The University of Puerto Rico. She worked for two years on Investigation projects in The University of Puerto Rico as a health educator for pediatric population and a Pharmacognosy professor in the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She completed her doctoral degree in Dental Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico and is certified in Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support.

Tiffany Willis, Administrative Assistant


Tiffany grew up in East Texas. She attended Trinity Valley Community College after high school where she studied liberal arts. Subsequently, she completed her RDA training at Concord College in Dallas. Tiffany joined the practice in 2014 as our office manager.  She is the first voice and face you see when engaging with our practice. She ensures that the practice is running efficiently.  She will be happy to assist you with scheduling, financial questions and anything concerning the office.

Outside of work she volunteers at her local animal shelter, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs Chevy and Sadie.
